Oceano vox, an impact project committed to the decade of the ocean
The United Nations has proclaimed the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030). Oceano Vox contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals defined by the United Nations. Of the 17 goals that point the way to achieving a better and sustainable future for all, Oceano Vox contributes concretely to 4 of the 17 SDGs.
Quality Education

SDG 4 aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and to promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, from early childhood to adult education.
Oceano Vox is committed to its employees to the availability of education, professional training, skills building and gender equality; to make knowledge available for educational projects with the provision of our environmental data.
Life below water

Aquatic life faces a range of human-related issues, including overfishing, habitat destruction and pollution. Oceano Vox is responsibly committed to protecting all marine life by working to develop a consistent approach to measuring the state of the ocean, especially in remote regions.
Climate action

Climate change is having a significant impact on the ocean, as seen in temperature variations, ocean currents and sea level. Oceano Vox is committed to accelerating the acquisition of climate data with the development of innovative solutions and low carbon footprint. We are also committed to raising awareness among sailing communities through the creation of citizen oceanographic campaigns to support research.

Investments and international support are needed to ensure technological development, fair trade, and market access, especially for developing countries. Oceano Vox is committed to resource mobilization, knowledge sharing, promoting the development and transfer of environmentally friendly technologies to improve data accuracy and timeliness, and enable better decision-making to address ocean-related challenges such as overfishing and marine pollution.
