OceanoVox

At Oceano Vox, we are proud to partner with organizations like Pure Ocean Fund and Ifremer on impactful projects that contribute to citizen science initiatives. Our work helps gather critical ocean data, which is essential for understanding and preserving marine environments. By engaging in such projects, we’re not only supporting the collection of vital oceanographic and meteorological data, but also helping bring attention to the ongoing physical changes happening in our seas.

One of our exciting projects takes us beyond the Mediterranean, all the way to the remote polar regions of Greenland. Together with Christophe Van Dongen and his crew aboard SY Cavalou, we are participating in the #CitizensIntoScience project.

As they sail through the breathtaking landscapes of Greenland, valuable in-situ oceanographic data will be gathered and made available to OceanOps at the World Meteorological Organization.

This data will provide insights into the physical changes occurring along the east coast of Greenland, shedding light on the impact of environmental shifts in this crucial region.

This collaboration is just one example of how citizen science is making a difference in ocean research. The support and contributions of all involved in these projects are deeply appreciated. If you are passionate about the preservation of our oceans, get in touch with us to discover how you can be part of this important work. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on the future of our marine ecosystems.
